DPG Degree College Cut Off
The admissions to all the courses offered here are based on the candidate's past academic merit, that is the marks obtained by them in the last qualifying examination. There are no entrance exams for admission into the various DPG Degree College courses offered. For UG admissions it is the 10+2 score and for PG admissions it is having a graduation degree from a recognised board and university respectively. Therefore no cut-off is released. Although the college will release a merit list stating the final selected candidate's names.
The DPG Degree College selection criteria for most courses are between the range of 35% and 45% in the senior secondary level. For a master’s degree admission, it is based on the marks obtained at the undergraduate level, which is also in the range between 40% and 50%.

Overall the college is great and has good facilities including, first class building, superb classrooms, fully Air conditioned classrooms, clean and green campus, excellent teaching faculty, canteen, parking area for students, department wise library section.
Overall the ambience and education quality of the college is top notch. However the fees is a bit on the expensive side. So accordingly one can decide.

Focus on enhancing technical skills of reporting, news design software, video editing, photography, etc. which are necessary for the field of Journalism and Mass Communication.
The faculty comprises former journalists and academicians. They have good links, knowledge to equip their students with the necessary skills to be successful in their respective fields. The LPU has state-of-the-art labs and studios for journalism and film production courses.
This course is an examination of the effect and impact of mass media on contemporary life and society.
